Dr Jason Cross, Chief Technology & Clinical Advisor / Co-Founder – In Memoriam

Dr Cross was a lawyer and specialist in life sciences IP, digital health & blockchain. He was a professor at Duke University where he founded The Innovation & Technology Policy Lab (ITPLab) and is an expert in financial innovation and blockchain-based technologies to improve access to medicines. He was the co-founder and Chief Strategy Officer at Rymedi, a blockchain-based platform facilitating precision health, digital workflows and data automation for patient testing, treatment and monitoring.  He held a PhD in Anthropology of Economics and Governance, MA in Cultural Anthropology and JD from Duke University, MA in the History and Philosophy of Science from University of Pittsburgh and BA from Penn State University. As a childhood cancer survivor, Dr Cross’ mission was to help bring down the cost of medicines. Unfortunately, in 2024 his cancer returned and Jason passed away earlier in 2025. Public Good Pharma continues the fight to realize his mission.
